Subsea ball valves are mainly used in Subsea manifolds, submarine
pipeline terminals and oil and gas transmission pipelines of offshore
oil and gas projects. The sealing structure of the valve adopts the
sealing form of single piston effect (SPE) + double piston effect (DPE)
combination, and the SPE is set to seal the upstream of the valve, which
can realize the function of automatic discharge of overpressure in the
valve cavity to the upstream. The operation mode of submarine valves
mainly includes hydraulic control, remote control operation (ROV) and
diver operation. The service life of Subsea ball valves is required to
be long, generally more than 30 years.
